Over the past 2 years, Boating Careers and the Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIAV) have partnered with the Australian College of Pioneers (ACP) to develop a brand-new qualification tailored specifically for the marine sector – the Certificate IV in Boating Services. This course has been developed in direct consultation with industry and blends 13 core units from the Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction with targeted business and communication skills. The result? A work-ready graduate who understands both the technical and operational aspects of a marine business. Work Placement Now Open Our first cohort of students is now progressing through the program and preparing to begin their industry work placements. They are currently completing: Work Health & Safety training Hand tool and technical foundation units Students are eager to gain hands-on experience in real marine businesses! Why Get Involved?
