Job Description:

We are seeking a unique person with a connection to the sea and a desire to protect life
on the water! Kick start your career path into Marine Safety with our small and friendly
Melbourne team. We will offer extensive training in the servicing of life jackets, life rafts
and other marine safety equipment with a view to a long association with West Offshore Products.
The ideal candidate requires the following attributes:
➢ Current Driver’s License & ability to drive a Manual (or willing to learn)
➢ Forklift Licence an advantage
➢ Good communication skills
➢ Trustworthy, hardworking and reliable
➢ Full appreciation for the work that is required and its potential to save
lives
➢ Positive attitude, motivated to work, team player
➢ Ability to follow strict procedures and produce all relevant
documentation.
➢ Physical fitness and agility
➢ Interest in the marine industry
➢ Willingness to study, learn and take responsibility
➢ A strong recognition of the value of customers and the necessity to meet
their requirements.
➢ Prior experience in the life raft industry is not required.
This is a permanent, full-time position, $29hr +Super, annual, sick leave & public
holidays. We are based in Braeside with onsite parking and plenty of local cafes.
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
