Job Description:

Are you an organised, hands-on leader with a passion for boats and outboard parts? We’re looking for a Parts Interpreter to lead our busy parts department and deliver outstanding service to our customers and internal teams.
About the Role
As our Parts Interpreter, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all parts operations — from stock control and supplier relationships, and customer service. You’ll ensure the right parts are available at the right time, keeping our workshop and customers running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Orgainise the day-to-day operations of the parts department
Source, order, and maintain inventory levels efficiently
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers
Organise the shipping and distribution of parts efficiently
Monitor budgets, pricing, and profitability
Implement systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and stock management
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
About You
You’re an organised multitasker with great communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You enjoy problem-solving and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience in a Parts Interpreter role
Strong knowledge of boats and outboard parts
Strong computer and inventory management system skills
Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to quality service
Experience in postage and distribution of parts
Website knowledge and experience (online sales).
