Australian Maritime College

Degree-Level Maritime Education — University of Tasmania

For those who want to take their maritime career to the highest level.

Already considering civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a university degree path?

The Australian Maritime College offers degree-level qualifications in naval architecture, marine engineering, and nautical science — the maritime equivalents of civil and mechanical engineering. If you're academically strong and want a degree that leads directly to a specialised, well-paid career, AMC is worth serious consideration. Graduates work as ship's officers, naval architects, and marine engineers — roles that simply don't exist anywhere else.
