Streaker Marine — a family-owned dealership operating since 1973 and a Platinum Dealer for Yamaha Outboards Australia — is looking for an enthusiastic, well-presented and driven person to join our growing service centre as a 1st Year Marine Apprentice.

We’re dealers for Cruise Craft, Haines Signature, Quintrex and Caribbean Boats, with a busy workshop and a loyal, expanding customer base — meaning real hands-on experience from day one and genuine long-term career opportunity.

About the role

A 4-year apprenticeship leading to a trade qualification as a Marine Mechanic. Full-time, permanent, 38 hours a week, with overtime available during our peak seasons. You’ll be trained across:
• Outboard servicing
• Trailer repairs and maintenance
• Installation of new and used marine engines and electronics
• Computer diagnostics
• General marine and boat repairs

About you

• Passionate about boating, fishing, water sports or the outdoors
• Keen to learn and build a trade
• Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude
• Good communicator who works well in a team
• Organised, tidy, efficient and hardworking
