Help Shape the Future of Australia’s Marine Industry

The Australian College of Pioneers (ACP) is seeking experienced marine and trade professionals to join our growing marine training team in Melbourne.

We are currently recruiting for individuals with experience in:

Boat Building
Marine Repair & Maintenance
Welding & Fabrication
Fibreglass & Composites
Marine Manufacturing
Workshop Supervision
Marine Mechanical Trades

This is a unique opportunity to pass on your skills and help develop the next generation of marine professionals entering the Australian boating industry.

Our students are undertaking the MEM40222 Certificate IV in Boating Services and require practical, hands-on training from experienced industry professionals.

About the Role

You may be involved in:

Delivering practical workshop activities
Demonstrating trade skills and industry best practice
Supporting workplace-based training (WBT)
Supervising student projects
Mentoring and coaching students
Assisting with boat building, fabrication and repair projects
Supporting the development of ACP’s practical marine training facility
Working with industry partners and employers

Training & Assessment Qualification

Applicants who do not currently hold a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are strongly encouraged to apply.

ACP is willing to support suitable candidates to obtain the required training qualification and transition into a professional trainer role.
