Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Mercury Marine Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a range of marine engines, with a focus on Mercury Marine products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers’ boats.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Mercury Marine inboards, outboards, and MerCruisers.
Conduct routine servicing, including inspections, tune-ups, and engine overhauls.
Carry out repowering projects and engine installations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Perform electronic rewires and assist with new boat fit-outs.
Undertake trailer repairs and minor fiberglass works as required.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and provide recommendations.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Certification: Qualified Marine Mechanic with experience in Mercury Marine products (Mercury certification highly regarded).
Experience: Minimum of [Insert Years, e.g., 2-5 years] experience as a marine mechanic.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of inboard, outboard, and sterndrive engines. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems.
Attention to Detail: High standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license (boat license preferred).
