Diptech Performance Yamaha is seeking a talented and experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team in Epping, VIC. As a full-time team member, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a range of marine vessels, ensuring they are operating at peak performance. What you’ll be doing
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic issues on a variety of marine engines and vessels
Conduct scheduled maintenance inspections and services to prevent future breakdowns
Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide high-quality customer service
Prepare detailed reports on the work carried out and parts used
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements
Prioritize safety at all times and ensure a clean and organised work environment
What we’re looking for
Formal qualification in Marine Mechanics or a related Automotive Trades field
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Marine Mechanic, with a strong understanding of marine engine systems
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry developments
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team
